ClickMeeting and Zoom: how are the plans different?
The main difference between Zoom and ClickMeeting is the approach to what you get when you purchase access to the service.
In the case of ClickMeeting, you can choose between two types of plans. With the Live plan, you can host various live events – from meetings for up to 40 people to webinars for 1,000 people. Within one account, you are provided with different modes. So, for example, you can turn on breakout rooms during a webinar and ask your attendees to work in groups. This makes it an excellent choice for schools or training companies, for example.
The second type of account is the Automated plan. It includes all the features from the Live plan supplemented with event automation and communication features.
In the case of Zoom, several versions of the tool are available. The basic is Zoom One, which offers a meeting mode. You can choose the Webinars or Events plan if you want to create webinars. Importantly: you must also select one of Zoom One’s paid plans to purchase them. So in each case, Zoom requires the creation of a personalized bundle. With ClickMeeting, on the other hand, you get everything in one package.
I'm hosting a webinar for 50, 100, 200 attendees. Should I go for ClickMeeting or Zoom?
ClickMeeting and Zoom primarily differ in terms of plan size. To organize webinars on Zoom, you need to purchase access for at least 500 attendees. If you need less, ClickMeeting will provide you with more flexibility. In this case, the smallest plan you can buy allows you to prepare events for 25 attendees. You will pay only €23 per month for that. If you need more attendees, you can choose a plan with 50, 100, or 200 attendees. This, on the other hand, means considerable savings. And when your needs grow, you’ll be able to switch to a larger plan.
If you create a huge conference in ClickMeeting, you will be able to host an event for up to 10,000 people with Enterprise services. It’s a great way to host advanced events, as you can count on comprehensive setup and direct technical support. With Zoom Webinars, the maximum attendee limit is 50,000, so no doubt it will be a good choice for extremely large online events.
How much will I pay for ClickMeeting and Zoom?
In both cases, the type of plan you choose and the number of attendees you can gather at your events will ultimately determine how much you pay.
If you choose Zoom, however, keep in mind that you must also purchase the Zoom One package in addition to the basic price of the Webinar or Events bundle. With ClickMeeting, on the other hand, you get all meeting formats directly in your plan. In addition, remember that both Zoom and ClickMeeting offer access to an extensive library of add-ons that will help you achieve even more with your online events.
Keep in mind that Zoom Webinars does not offer a trial period. So you won’t be able to test the service before purchasing it. ClickMeeting works on a different principle: you have up to 30 days to try out the tool’s key features, including the automation function. We don’t even ask you for your payment card information.
